We all know that college is expensive, this may deter some high school kids from going to college. But what if there was a way to skip a few classes and save thousands of dollars? Would you take the opportunity to earn college credits for a fraction of a price? Many young Americans would love this opportunity, and luckily there is a very achievable way to do this.
Anyone, any age can take a CLEP exam
What is CLEP? The CLEP exams stand for the college-level examination program. This is a test that people in or out of college can take to earn college credit and bypass specific classes. This means if you take an English exam, you may be able to skip to the next level of English class when you start college.
CLEP exams are administered by the same company that does the AP test. You've heard of them right?
You can take a CLEP test at any time of year - no waiting to a certain day or time like an AP test.
You can earn college credit when you pass. You'll find out instantly at the end of the test if you pass. No need to wait weeks to find out! And if you don't pass the first time? You can retake it in only three months!
Always verify the information with an academic advisor before you take a test - just in case!
